Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CVium.AI (“CVium”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using CVium, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

CVium is an AI-powered platform that tailors your CV and cover letter to a job description, scores your CV for ATS compatibility, preps you for interviews, tracks your applications, and — if you enable it — finds and drafts applications to matching jobs on your behalf.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use CVium. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for anything that happens under your login.

3. Subscriptions and billing

CVium offers Free, Pro, and Business plans. Pro is typically purchased as a 30-day access period via Paynow (or billed monthly/yearly where Stripe is available). Business is custom for coaches and cohorts. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

4. Your content

You own the CV, profile, and other content you upload to CVium. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transform that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, parsing your CV or generating a tailored rewrite).

5. AI-generated content

Content generated or rewritten by AI — including CVs, cover letters, interview answers, career plans, and company research — may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before submitting it to an employer. Our Truth Checker flags claims it cannot verify against your original CV, but it does not guarantee accuracy or completeness.

6. Auto-Apply agent

When you enable Auto-Apply, CVium searches for matching jobs and drafts a tailored CV and cover letter for each one. Drafted applications require your explicit approval before submission, unless you separately configure automatic sending — in which case you are responsible for what is sent to employers under your name.

7. Public profiles and the recruiter marketplace

If you opt in to a public candidate profile, recruiters using CVium may search for, view, and contact you. You can disable this at any time from Settings.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with CVium’s infrastructure.
• Submit false or fraudulent information to employers through the platform.
• Use Auto-Apply or the job feed to spam job boards or employers.
• Use CVium for any unlawful purpose.

9. Third-party services

Job listings, LinkedIn data, and payment processing are provided by third parties (including RemoteOK, LinkedIn, Paynow, and Stripe). We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time from Settings.

11. Disclaimers

CVium is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or employment outcomes from using the service.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVium is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for hiring decisions made by third parties.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CVium.AI is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above whenever we make material changes.
